Revd Canon Dr Roger Latham
Roger began working life as a Secondary English and Drama teacher, having studied English to Masters level at Leicester and Warwick Universities. He trained for ordination at St John’s College, Nottingham, and served his curacy in Peterborough before moving to Cumbria in 2002 as Team Vicar in the Cartmel Peninsula. In 2008-09 he moved into a full-time training role as Vice-Principal of LCTP and Officer for IME Phase 2 (curate training) for Carlisle Diocese. Roger became Director of CCL in September 2016.

Revd Nicki Pennington
Before Ordination, Nicki trained to be a social worker at Nottingham University and completed her MA in Social Work at Leicester University. Nicki has worked in a number of roles within Social Work including project development, therapeutic and assessment work with children and families, assessments and training. She became a Lay reader in 1998 serving initially in a rural team of churches before moving to the Cockermouth Team. Nicki trained for ordination locally with LCTP and served her curacy in Maryport , Netherton, Flimby and Broughton Moor Churches.
Principal of Initial Ministerial Education
Dr Karl Möller
Karl was raised in Minden near Hanover in Germany and trained in theology to MA level before working for a group of churches as a Campus Missionary and Student Advisor in Bremen. Between 1994 and 1999 he completed a PhD in Old Testament Studies (Presenting a Prophet in Debate: An Investigation of the Literary Structure and the Rhetoric of Persuasion of the Book of Amos) and taught Old Testament at the University of Gloucestershire.

Revd Dr Allison Fenton
Allison previously served as Associate Minister for St Mary’s Church, Sherburn, St Cuthbert’s Church, Shadforth, and St Giles Church, Durham, and studies skills tutor for Lindisfarne Regional Training Partnership.
Vocations Development Officer and Diocesan Director of Ordinands
Revd Canon Peter Clement
Peter served in the Dioceses of Chester, Manchester, St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, Bradford, and Ripon and Leeds before being appointed to the role of Carlisle Diocesan Director of Ordinands in 2015.
As a Residentiary Canon of Carlisle Cathedral, Peter is a member of the Cathedral Chapter which directs and oversees the whole life of the Cathedral, where he also takes a regular part in leading worship.
Continuing Ministerial Development Team Leader
Revd Jane Maycock
Having served her curacy in north-west London, Jane came to the diocese of Carlisle in 1995, since when she has enjoyed a variety of ministries. She has a long-standing desire to help encourage and develop people in their ministry, and has been involved in this in a range of contexts: in parish ministry at Holy Trinity Kendal; as a Director of Ordinands; as a biblical studies tutor at St. Martin’s College Lancaster (now the University of Cumbria; as a tutor for trainee readers and ordinands with Cumbria Christian Learning’s predecessors, LCTP and CBDTI (the Lancashire and Cumbria Theological Partnership / the Carlisle and Blackburn Diocesan Training Institute), and as a chaplain at Rydal Hall.
