Music in Worship: using it well
Saturday 30th March 2019

Music is a significant part of our worship, whatever our tradition. After a brief look at the history of music in the Bible and in the church, the workshop looks at the dynamics of a service of worship and the role of music within this, focusing on how we choose hymns, songs and other music to enhance worship and shape our services.
It is applicable to all denominations and styles of worship and is very practical.
If you are a worship leader, church musician, band leader – anyone with responsibility for choosing music and/or putting together a worship service – then this workshop is for you.
Including:
- History of music in worship
- Choosing music for worship
- Dynamics of a worship service
- Working with worship leaders, choirs, musical directors, organists
