Pastoral Care: an introduction

From Thursday 26th April: We are pleased to be able to invite you to participate in the forthcoming Pastoral Care module which is part of our Ordinand and Reader training programme.
You may have already covered some aspects of pastoral care and require a refresher, or perhaps you’d like to cover some areas in more depth, you might like to see this as part of your continuing learning and development. It may be that as a Reader you are interested in developing your Funeral Ministry –in which case this module would enable you to take the next step towards being licensed to do so.
The module will run for 5 session on Thursday afternoons: April 26, May 10, May 24, May 31, June 14, 12.30pm – 2.30pm, at Church House, Penrith.
There is no cost attached to this course for Readers or LLMs.

- Theological Reflection on Funeral Ministry and Liturgy
- Human Development and Wholeness
- Personal Learning, Boundaries and Self-care
